We are committed to ensuring the quality and craftsmanship of the products purchased on SunDiamond.com. We stand behind everything that we sell and warrant that all items will be free from any manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.
We carefully inspect each item to ensure that it meets our quality standards before it is shipped out.
Sun Diamond offers a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. In a rare event that you find a manufacturing defect, we request you to contact our customer support to have the Jewelry shipped back to us for it to be inspected by our Jewelry experts*.
If we determine your product is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the merchandise or, if we deem appropriate, replace the item. Upon inspection, if it determined that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, then we will notify you and let you know the cost of repair services outside the lifetime warranty.
Our lifetime warranty offers free polishing, rhodium plating, gemstone cleaning and prong tightening. Keep in mind, that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics, or internal inclusions, visible or otherwise, in colored gemstones are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered as part of the character of the item, and should not be considered a defect.
Terms and Conditions
- Maintenance, repair, sizing or other service performed by someone other than Sun Diamond will void your Lifetime Warranty.
- We will replace any Diamonds under 0.10ct carat weight that are broken or lost during everyday wear and tear. Diamonds above 0.10ct are not covered under warranty.
- Center stone Diamonds and gemstones on engagement rings are also not covered under warranty.
- Jewelry is vulnerable to normal wear, activities or trauma. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered.
- Some common Jewelry issues that are not considered manufacturers defect are as follows.
- Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and may require build up or restoration work as normal wear.
- Bent, caught or worn out prongs allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
- The loss of a gemstone caused by damage from everyday wear or from other damage.
- The discoloration of precious metals caused by chemicals, make-up, immersion in pools and hot tubs, or bathing.
- Free shipping policies do not apply to Jewelry repairs. We only offer complimentary shipping back to the customer for all warrantied repairs.
- *A $50 deposit will be requested before issuing a shipping label for warranty evaluation, which covers the cost of shipping the item to us for evaluation by our expert jewelers to determine if the repair is warrantied.
- International customers will be subject to return shipping cost applicable to their order.
